Manhattan Christian did just enough to beat Whitehall 51-48 on Saturday.

The Eagles led by six after the first quarter, but their lead was trimmed to three points at halftime and two points after three frames. But they managed to hang on for the win.

Kiersten Van Kirk scored 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds while Christian teammate Eliana Kuperus recorded 14 points and 13 boards.

Despite committing 14 turnovers compared to the Trojans' 10, the Eagles outshot Whitehall 42% to 34% from the field.

Christian won the rebounding battle 38-32 and scored 17 second-chance points.
