Manhattan Christian did just enough to defeat Gardiner 50-49 at home on Friday.

The Eagles led 31-22 at halftime, but the Bruins came back and outscored Christian 15-13 in the third quarter and 12-6 in the fourth. But the Eagles held on.

Josiah Amunrud led the Eagles with 23 points on 8-for-22 shooting while making 6 of 13 3-pointers. He also added a team-high eight rebounds.

While the Bruins made 37% of their shots to Christian’s 31%, the Eagles forced 11 turnovers and scored 12 points off of them.

Gardiner’s Elijah Bryd scored a game-high 22 points on 8-of-23 shooting.
