The Bozeman Icedogs swept the Butte Cobras in their first series of 2020, prevailing by scores of 7-1 and 11-4 on Friday and Saturday in North American Three Hockey League action.

Seven different Icedogs scored in the Friday win at Butte. Conan Hayton made 39 saves as Bozeman shut out the Cobras in two of the three periods. Butte’s lone goal came on a power play in the third.

The Icedogs continued their offensive explosion with 11 goals Saturday. Will Kutch had a four-point night with his two goals and two assists, and Cooper Walsh chipped in a goal and four assists.

Bozeman trails the Great Falls Americans by one point in the Frontier Division. Great Falls jumped ahead of Bozeman after the Icedogs lost on New Year’s Eve, 4-3, in a shootout.

Bozeman plays Great Falls at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Hayes Pavillion.
