Priscilla Flesch-Birtic broke the 800-meter record and took first in two events during the National Senior Games in June in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Priscilla Flesch-Birtic, from Belgrade, set NSG’s record by crossing the finish line in the 800 in 3 minutes, 1.28 seconds. That beat the previous record of 3:02.6. Flesch-Birtic also won the 1,500 in 6:12.83.

Flesch-Birtic was ranked first going into both races. She qualified during the Montana Senior Olympics last year.

“I felt proud to represent Montana,” Flesch-Birtic said.
