The Bozeman Police Department reports for Tuesday included the following:

  • Mailboxes were stolen off Babcock Street.
  • A person needed to release a skunk.
  • Someone complained about barking. The dog owner was crate-training a puppy, which would be attending doggy day care soon. The officer suggested leaving a TV or radio on.
  • A German shepherd on a long leash comes out and attacks people on bikes in an alleyway. The dog knocked a woman off her bike. The dog is otherwise friendly.
  • A woman complained about her neighbor's band practicing every day.
  • A person had an injured rabbit. The rabbit passed away. It was disposed of.
  • An officer spoke with teens about not digging through trash.
  • Offices responded to 178 calls.

The Gallatin County Sheriff's Office reports for Tuesday were unavailable.

The Gallatin County jail held 158 inmates Wednesday.
