The Bozeman Police Department reports for Friday included the following:

• Officers responded to a residence reportedly hosting a loud party. The occupants were warned for having a loud and unruly gathering.

• Two men were stopped for carrying buckets from Bar IX that contained yellow liquid smelling of alcohol. They were belligerent and disorderly.

• A woman reported seeing a bear in a tree and that it growled at her near East Gallatin Recreation Area.

• A caller wanted to know what his options were to resolve a dispute with his roommate regarding an electric bill.

• Officers responded to 172 calls.

The Gallatin County Sheriff's Office reports for Friday were unavailable.

The Gallatin County jail held 162 inmates Saturday.
