The Bozeman Police Department reports for Monday included the following:

• A drunk man reported someone stole his backpack. The man also told an officer that he let a man take the backpack to hold.

• A woman reported money was stolen from her mail.

• An officer talked to dog walkers about animal control duties.

• Officers responded to 142 calls.

The Gallatin County Sheriff's Office reports for Monday included the following:

• A black bear crossed the centerline on a road.

• A woman reported a rooster attacked her boyfriend and tried getting into her home over the weekend. The woman said the rooster is covered in blood and still on her property.

• Someone used another person’s identity to buy a vending machine.

• A woman yelled at hunters on state land and caused a deer they were tracking to run away.

• Deputies responded to 87 calls.

The Gallatin County jail held 160 inmates Tuesday.
