The Bozeman Police Department reports for Tuesday included the following:

• Two men were throwing newspapers in a lobby. A caller wanted the area checked.

• An officer warned someone for not picking up dog poop at a park.

• A woman wanted to talk to an officer for a presentation she is giving to a class. She said she was interested in average response times and how many officers work for the Bozeman Police Department.

• An officer told a woman it is not illegal for kids to play on a half-pipe on the road.

• Officers responded to 142 calls.

The Gallatin County Sheriff's Office reports for Tuesday included the following:

• Someone found a gun in a parking lot.

• A woman wanted a neighbor’s daughter to stop coming onto her property and feeding her horse.

• An umbrella was on a road.

• Deputies responded to 99 calls.

The Gallatin County jail held 172 inmates Wednesday.
