The Bozeman Police Department reports for Thursday included the following:

• A caller reported hearing five gunshots. Officers determined it was likely fireworks.

• An officer tried talking to an older man with an off-leash dog. The man claimed the officer was harassing him and refused to give any information.

• A man test-driving a car accidentally dialed 911 from it.

• A caller reported a cheese curd theft.

• A man reported a business kept his ID when he tried to buy beer.

• Someone reported people shooting off fireworks from a balcony on Main Street.

• A bar employee reported not letting a woman inside because the bar was at capacity. The caller said the woman wasn’t taking no for an answer.

• Officers responded to 112 calls.

The Gallatin County Sheriff's Office reports for Thursday were unavailable.

The Gallatin County jail held 166 inmates Friday.
