The Bozeman Police Department reports for Friday included the following:

  • A caller found a turtle that had been run over in the middle of the road and told police they would keep it overnight. The caller reported the next morning that the turtle made it through the night.
  • An unlocked, $50 black Huffy cruiser was stolen.
  • A raccoon was trapped in a storm drain.
  • Skateboarders were in the basement of a downtown building. They were asked to leave but would not.
  • While wearing a swimsuit, a drunk woman was yelling in a hotel lobby about towels not being replenished. She tried to climb over the counter.
  • Officers responded to 175 calls.

The Gallatin County Sheriff's Office reports for Friday were unavailable.

The Gallatin County jail held 175 inmates Saturday.
