The Bozeman Police Department reports for Thursday included the following:

• Someone broke a store’s front window the prior night.

• A former employee used his access card to get into a business.

• A woman reported her apartment was for rent on Craigslist.

• A caller wanted to know if they could burn plant debris and a stump. The woman was referred to the fire department.

• Someone found a cat they reported missing.

• A man was warned not to talk to his neighbors.

• Someone found a ring.

• A caller reported a group of five people were punching and shoving each other.

• Downtown Bozeman had loud music. A caller wanted them to be quiet.

• Officers responded to 142 calls.

The Gallatin County Sheriff's Office reports for Thursday included the following:

• Someone bashed in mailboxes with a baseball bat. A caller reported they noticed the mailboxes when they were delivering papers.

• A construction company moved a fence into a traffic lane.

• A dog’s head was stuck between a kennel door and a fence post.

• A caller reported people slamming on their brakes because of a construction zone. The caller said there were stop signs all over and no one knew where they should be driving and stopping.

• People were setting off fireworks.

• A man asked if he could have a fire pit. The man said he just got shut down for lighting fireworks and that he has “jerk neighbors.”

• Deputies responded to 123 calls.

The Gallatin County jail held 164 inmates Friday.
