The Bozeman Police Department reports for Monday included the following:

• Someone stole a bike rack.

• Animal control called a person who reported a cat stuck in a tree. The reporting party said the cat was no longer there.

• Someone scattered trash and a mattress in a parking lot.

• Two women were selling books. They called law enforcement in case there were any complaints.

• An officer warned a man to keep his dog on his property. The man said he picked up dog hair that was on his neighbor’s lawn.

• A man, who was walking around naked, got into a black truck.

• Officers responded to 165 calls.

The Gallatin County Sheriff's Office reports for Monday included the following:

• A man reported a neighbor opened his mail and crumbled it. A deputy called the neighbor who said he received the mail and accidentally opened it.

• A caller said their boat capsized on the Gallatin River and floated away on Saturday. The caller wanted to know if the boat was found.

• Horses were loose in Belgrade.

• A man reported looking for a trap for a vicious cat that beat up his cat. The man wanted to talk to animal control.

• Dispatchers referred a man to pest control for a rodent stuck in his car.

• Someone cut a kitchen screen and broke into a house. A woman reported there was bear spray on the table and bad words written on the walls. The woman said she thought it was her daughter but now thinks it could be her ex.

• Deputies responded to 163 calls.

The Gallatin County jail held 169 inmates Tuesday.
