The Bozeman Police Department reports for Wednesday included the following:

• A fox that looked sick went into someone’s backyard. Dispatch advised the fox is shedding its summer coat and is healthy.

• Someone stole a black backpack with a blitz logo on it.

• A man wanted to let an officer know he wouldn’t be able to pick up a citation because he was busy working.

• A woman reported she was punched on Saturday night. Her attorney told her to report it.

• A dog stepped on a woman’s phone and accidentally dialed 911.

• Officers responded to 169 calls.

The Gallatin County Sheriff's Office reports for Wednesday included the following:

• A wheelbarrow was on a road.

• A woman was unable to put out a fire. She said the fire was “not too bad.”

• A caller reported a man entered his house and left when he heard the caller. The caller didn’t want to press charges but wanted to know why the man went inside the house.

• A woman reported a bullet hole near the gas tank of her car.

• A man was banned from Bozeman Hot Springs for waving a knife and stabbing a bench.

• Someone turned in money they found on a hiking trail.

• Deputies responded to 124 calls.

The Gallatin County jail held 168 inmates Thursday.
