I’m voting for Michael Wallner for Bozeman City Commission. My husband and I have lived in Bozeman for nearly four years after residing in Gallatin Gateway for 24 years. While maintaining connections to the Gallatin Gateway community, our move to Bozeman was a good choice.

We especially enjoy the city trails and parks, commitment to historical preservation, our thriving downtown and activities that promote a strong sense of place and community. However, maintaining Bozeman’s high quality of life doesn’t stop at the city limits. The need for communication and cooperation between the city of Bozeman and Gallatin County is becoming increasingly apparent and essential for our growing area. Bozeman needs a leader who knows how to analyze tough situations, explore options and work effectively with others to achieve solutions.

I’ve met Michael and shared my concerns. I’m impressed by his education in public policy, communication skills, community service, varied work experience and commitment to community. Michael is a team player with his own ideas for moving the city forward. His energy, enthusiasm and thorough knowledge of the area make Michael the best qualified candidate to work effectively with other elected officials, city staff, and the public to address challenges of affordable housing, transportation, infrastructure, clean water and many more. His personal style and dedication to service make Michael Wallner my choice for Bozeman City commissioner.
