My wife Janey Kennedy and I moved to Bozeman in 1975. We have worked with thousands of small businesses across Montana, the United States, and the world throughout our 42 years in business. We understand the importance of having leaders in government roles that not only understand great governance, but also understand the impact that government policies can have on private businesses.

I’m writing to endorse Michael Wallner for Bozeman city commissioner. I’ve known Michael Wallner for many years and I am convinced he will make an outstanding contribution as our future city of Bozeman commissioner. The two words I would use to describe Michael are thoughtful and determined. The strength of these attributes come first through deep listening followed by his ability to carefully analyze a course of action, and then a commitment to action, which achieves the intended outcome. Michael Wallner currently works with thousands of small businesses across the country that conduct advanced research and development for the U.S. Department of Defense. Wallner also grew up in a family of small business owners, and is currently completing his MBA at the University of Montana.

Good governance requires listening to your constituents, sound judgment, and unwavering action. Bozeman’s bright future depends on this kind of leadership and Michael Wallner is the right choice to lead Bozeman to a successful future.
