By providing the clerk and recorder’s office with a citizen-led elections advisory board, we can ensure an extra layer of protection in all of our democratic processes.

An elections advisory board could help the elections administrator recruit election judges, make steps towards improving our current elections processes, and aid in conducting surveys of Gallatin County voters, ultimately, better understanding each individual voter’s needs and whether or not our current voting systems meeting them. It’s time for more representation in government, and just like anything else, it starts at the local level. Be a voice. Be an advocate. Make a change. Let the Gallatin County Commission know that we want better representation and more accountability in Bozeman.
