This Thanksgiving, as we gathered with family, I was thankful that there were no empty seats. I was thankful that no close family members or friends had been gunned down, murdered, senselessly, in this never ending epidemic of gun violence perpetrated mostly by people who legally own guns. I ask myself, how would I feel if one of my sons or my daughter in law or my husband's chair was empty because of gun violence? This is something so beyond imagination, I can't fathom how I would cope. I am sure you feel the same.
Why do the Republican law makers refuse to take common sense action to control gun violence? There is no good answer or reason for this. The majority of people in the U.S. support common sense gun control. It's beyond time for Congress to act. Please write, call, your senators and your representatives and demand that they take action to control gun violence.
