Lightning sparked a small wildfire near the Yellowstone River in Yellowstone National Park.

A park release said the one-tenth of an acre fire was located about three miles east of Canyon Village. Hikers on the Sevenmile Hole trail found the fire on Wednesday.

The release said firefighters would monitor the fire and that it didn’t pose a threat to people visiting the park.
