Comedian Trevor Noah, host of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show,” will stop at Montana State University for his 2020 Loud & Clear Tour on April 25.

Montana State University announced Monday that Trevor Noah, the comedian and author who hosts “The Daily Show,” will be making a stop in Bozeman on April 25, 2020.

The show is part of Noah’s “Loud and Clear” tour, a global tour hitting 12 countries including the U.S.

“This is a really hot tour,” said Rick Droski, assistant ticket manager at MSU’s Brick Breeden Fieldhouse, where Noah will perform. “This is one of the bigger [comedians] we’ve had.”

Droski said the Fieldhouse will be set up concert arena style, with about 5,200 seats available.

Noah, 35, was born and grew up in South Africa. He has eight comedy specials on his resume, with a ninth coming to Netflix in February 2020. Noah’s first book, “Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood,” is a New York Times bestseller and tells the story of Noah’s childhood with a black mother and white father at the tail end of apartheid.
