The Imagine Dragons will play the first Bobcat Stadium concert in 37 years on Thursday, July 26, as part of its Evolve World Tour.

Montana State University and Live Nation confirmed the former Grammy Award winners Wednesday morning. Billboard called Imagine Dragons the “Biggest Band of 2017.”

The concert marks the first show at Bobcat Stadium since 1981, when the Ozark Mountain Daredevils, Montana (Former Mission Mountain Wood Band), John Bayley, Live Wire Choir, John Colter Band and Willow played in the then-named Reno H. Sales Stadium.

The Imagine Dragons show in Bozeman will be the band’s only tour stop in Montana, Idaho and Wyoming.

Founded in 2009, the quartet has earned four Top 10 Billboard hits and earned a Grammy Award in 2014 for Best Rock Performance for its monster hit “Radioactive.” The band’s third studio album “Evolve” rocketed to the top of the charts on the backs of songs like “Thunder,” “Believer,” “Rise Up” and “Whatever It Takes.”

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring Imagine Dragons to Bobcat Stadium,” said Creston Thornton, president of Live Nation’s Mountain Division. “From the moment I first talked to our partners at Montana State University, we wanted to be the first to play Bobcat Stadium in 37 years. To be doing it with a band that’s as hot as Imagine Dragons means it will be an incredible night in Bozeman.”

Appearing with Imagine Dragons will be special guest Grace VanderWaal, who won the 11th season of “America’s Got Talent.”

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 3. Tickets will be available online at, by phone at 1-800-325-7328 or at the Bobcat Ticket Office and all TicketsWest outlets. A service fee is added to each ticket. There is a six-ticket limit per customer.
