Bail was set at $150,000 for a Loma man accused of raping a girl multiple times.

Kyle Douglas McCommon, 25, is charged with sexual intercourse without consent. He appeared in Gallatin County Justice Court on Monday.

On Sunday, a girl at Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital told a deputy that she had sex with McCommon the prior night at a house in Belgrade, according to charging documents. The girl told a forensic interviewer that she had sex with McCommon three times prior to this incident and that she felt like she was unable to tell McCommon “no,” court documents say.

McCommon told the deputy that he had sex with the girl three or four times and that she had sent him nude photos by email, court documents say. Police said in charging documents that McCommon admitted to more wrongdoing “but did not take accountability for his actions.”

Police said McCommon’s pattern of grooming is “consistent with that of a child predator who acts with premeditation and great deliberation.”

If convicted, McCommon could face up to a $50,000 fine and up to life in prison.
