A car hit a drunk man who was crossing Main Street on a red light Monday morning.

Bozeman Deputy Police Chief Jim Veltkamp said the man was taken to Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital for a medical evaluation. Based on an officer’s report of the incident, Veltkamp said the man’s injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.

Around 5:45 a.m. Monday, a caller reported hitting a drunk man in his underwear, according to police call logs. Veltkamp said the man ran into the street and hit the side of the car.
