MSU to offer non-credit course in project management

Montana State University’s Continuing, Professional and Lifelong Learning will host a new non-credit course on professional project management starting in September.

The course, “Project Management: The Art and Science,” is intended for anyone seeking to acquire or strengthen their project management skills and is appropriate for any industry or organization. The eight-week course will be taught by Lisa Armitage, Jess Short and Lindsey Tollefson, each of whom has decades of experience and expertise in project management across several industries.

Attendees will learn waterfall and agile project management methodologies as well as how to connect theories to actions. The course will meet Tuesday evenings from 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. from Sept. 17 to Nov. 5 on MSU’s campus. Registration is $499 and those interested can enroll at or call 406-994-6550.
