A painting was stolen from the Emerson Center for Arts and Culture in downtown Bozeman two weeks ago and Bozeman police are asking for the public's help finding it.

The painting, "Red Mark," by Donna Ganz, was taken during normal business hours on Thursday, Dec. 16, according to a statement released Wednesday by Detective Scott Vongeher of the Bozeman Police Department.

The 16x20-inch acrylic on canvas had been displayed in the Ecce Gallery inside the Emerson, Vongehr said.

Anyone with information regarding this crime is urged to call police at 582-2000; or anonymous tips can be left with Crimestoppers at 586-1131.

A cash reward is available, Vongehr said.
