APRS Physical Therapy’s Dr. John-Henry Anderson was recognized last month by the University of Montana as the recipient of the 2019 Clinical Instructor of the Year. All physical therapy students across the country, as part of their academic curriculum, are required to participate in 1,200 to 1,600 hours of clinical experience throughout their three years of graduate school. Dr. Anderson has been a certified clinical instructor for 14 years, teaching students from all over the U.S. Being an instructor is a great way for experienced clinicians to teach the next generation of physical therapists and give back to the university system.

Allied Engineering Services, Inc. is pleased to announce the permanent hiring of Sumner LaValley, engineer intern. LaValley, who interned for Allied in 2018, earned her bachelor of science and master of science in civil engineering from Montana State University. She founded the GeoCats Engineering Club at MSU last fall and saw the group compete at the Geo-Institute conference in Philadelphia in March 2019. LaValley, originally from Western Washington, enjoys competing in triathlons, backpacking and skiing in the mountains of Montana as well as crafting nourishing meals at home. Chingas, from Strafford, New Hampshire, received his bachelor of science in civil engineering from the University of New Hampshire and his master of science in civil engineering from Montana State University and worked as a summer intern for Allied in 2018. He is passionate about snow science and participates in alpine climbing and mountaineering and backcountry skiing and split boarding. Allied Engineering Services, Inc. enthusiastically welcomes Emma Raeside, engineer intern, of Rochester, New York, who joined the Allied team in January 2019. Raeside earned her bachelor of science at the University of Vermont, and her master of science at Montana State University, both in environmental engineering. She was a 2018 Montana Water Center Student Fellow for her research in the microenvironment of wetland roots. Raeside likes good road trip playlists and trail running with her dog, Rue, who also puts in full-time hours at Allied. American Bank is happy to announce a new addition to its Livingston team. Loren Zahn has joined the bank as a lender and will be doing commercial, construction and lot loans.
