A Bozeman branch of Manhattan Bank is getting a new building.

The bank has filed documents with the city that show it plans to build at 1941 West Main Street near the intersection with 19th Avenue.

It’ll have three stories and almost 15,000 square feet.

The branch’s current home is much smaller and part of a strip mall. The Bozeman branch is Manhattan Bank’s fourth location.

Tyler Doshier, vice president of the Bozeman branch, said the branch will add more staff with the expansion.

“We’ve definitely seen our business grow and we’re excited to have a full service branch in Bozeman,” Doshier said.

The branch will be able to add drive-through windows and will have more space for storage in a basement. Plans include a 37-spot parking lot.

Doshier said the branch is about a year and a half from moving to the new location.
