Burlesque, special cocktails and Havana vibes will rule the Kitty Warren bar on Saturday night for the first-ever "A Night in Havana" dance performance-slash-party.

"It's really an interactive and immersive performance," sad Rodriguez. "The dancers will be among the party goers and show attendees ... out of nowhere, maybe the gorgeous girl next to you starts dancing and performing and ends up on stage."

15 performers are slated to dance at the event, which will showcase everything from hula hooping to burlesque. Kitty Warren has created three special new cocktails for the party, and local adult novelty shop Erotique has donated a gift basket to be raffled off.

The show starts at 9 p.m., but Francesca Ness of the Okay, Cool management company suggests showing up early. (Okay, Cool manages Kitty Warren.)

"It will fill up and there will be a wait," Ness said. "The sooner you get there and the sooner you save your spot, the better."

Rodriguez said guests are flying into town from as far as New York and Miami to see the show, compromised of 10 different performances. In addition to a professional photographer, Rodriguez said a film student will be documenting parts of the night for their thesis piece about a "how women feel in their bodies."

She wants party goers to use the event as an excuse to dress up, to feel good about themselves and to look good for the photo booth.

"They should come dressed to impress, like they are in 1950's Havana," she said. "Think pinup girl, think flowers in your hair, think fedoras ... Literally Bozeman's sexiest dance party."

"A Night in Havana" is scheduled for 9 p.m. on Saturday, July 13 at Kitty Warren in Downtown Bozeman. More information can be found on the "Burlesque Show: a Night in Havana" Facebook event page.
