On July 14, Susan and Jeff Bridges sent a letter to the editor of the Livingston Enterprise that voiced their opposition to a proposed mine near Emigrant Creek, 20 miles south of their Paradise Valley home.

Environmental reporter Michael Wright has a story on the proposed mine. And it wasn't that long ago this reporter was trying to contact Jeff Bridges to talk about becoming Senator Dude.

But, the best part is that the Enterprise paired the letter with a cartoon about a Glendive man who will be collecting signatures for a ballot measure which would legalize recreational marijuana use.

It's a brilliant layout.
