Timelapse of Bozeman

A still from a video timelapse of Bozeman since 1984 compiled from satellite imagery.

How has Bozeman grown and changed over the past three decades? You can see for yourself — from a bird's eye view — with a tool put together by Google.

Google Earth's Timelapse tool lets you look at any place on earth and play through 32 years of satellite imagery as if it was a time-lapse video.

Google worked with scientists at Carnegie Mellon University to make the gigantic map interactive and zoomable, creating an almost seamless look into the history of any spot on the planet.
