Former Park and Sheridan College (Wyoming) guard Ladan Ricketts announced his commitment to Montana State on Saturday afternoon.

He took an official visit to MSU this weekend and has two years of eligibility remaining.

β€œI am so grateful for this opportunity,” Ricketts wrote in a tweet. β€œIt is a honor to be coming back to play in front of the great fans of Montana!”

Earlier this week, Bobcats head coach Brian Fish mentioned a desire to add shooters during the spring recruiting cycle. The Bobcats have three available scholarships entering the signing period, which begins Wednesday.

Ricketts fits the description, as he shot 43 percent from behind the arc this past season with the Generals while averaging 13.1 points in 19.5 minutes per game. He earned all-state honors as both a junior and senior at Park. As a senior with the Rangers, he averaged 24.2 points and shot 51 percent from 3.
