About a dozen offices in Montana State University's Information Technology Center were flooded during the thunderstorm that struck Bozeman last weekend.

Chief Information Officer Adam Edelman said drains near a service ramp overflowed during the storm, sending water down the ramp and into the IT Center, which is in the basement of Renne Library.

While carpets, furniture and several computers were damaged, no university IT services were disrupted by the flooding, Edelman said.

Buffalo Restoration and MSU maintenance staff hope to have things back to normal in a couple of weeks, and most of the damage should be covered by insurance, he added.
