Longfellow School may be one of Bozeman's older schools, but its teachers are trying lots of new things so students keep learning at the highest level in the new era of Common Core standards.

Principal Randy Walthall and his teachers gave examples of their innovations Tuesday during the annual lunch visit with School Board trustees, held in the basement library of the 75-year-old school.
