No slackers: International teachers say Bozeman students have more freedom

From the way American teenagers are portrayed in the movies, foreign teachers visiting Bozeman High School half expected to see a bunch of unruly slackers.

So it was a pleasant surprise for Marina Kazaryan, who teaches English in the former Soviet republic of Georgia, to meet Bozeman students who weren’t arrogant, but somewhat shy.
