A dispute over whether a couple owed a Bozeman law firm $94 made its way to the Montana Supreme Court — and it’s costing the couple a lot more money.

Last week, the state’s high court sided with the Wittich Law Firm, saying a Park County District Court judge was correct in ordering an Emigrant couple to pay more than $5,000 in attorneys fees to the firm after they fought paying $94 and additional attorneys fees the firm said they owed.
