Montana State University Extension in Gallatin County will host the Level 1 Master Gardener class from 6 to 8:30 p.m. starting Monday, Jan. 14, running consecutive Mondays until March 4, at the Museum of the Rockies.

Toby Day, MSU Horticulture Specialist, will be the instructor. The class is intended for beginner to intermediate gardeners who want to be more successful in vegetable or flower gardening and to better understand yard and garden maintenance.

The cost is $180. Included in the cost is a $70 deposit that is refunded upon completion of 20 hours of community volunteer commitment.
