The woman who died in last Thursday's downtown explosion has been identified as Tara Bowman, 36, of Bozeman.

Bowman was employed at Montana Trails Gallery, which was one of several buildings demolished in the blast, and was at work at the time of the explosion, according to release issued Monday morning by the Gallatin County sheriff's department.

Bowman had been missing since the explosion. Emergency workers recovered her body Sunday afternoon.

The cause of the explosion remains under investigation.
