The private Seventh-day Adventist boarding high school is trying to win an online contest that could help the school pay for a new sewer system.

Kohl's department store is giving away $500,000 each to 20 schools, decided through an online competition on Facebook. The 20 schools that get the most votes on the site will get the money.

Voting ends Friday.

"We're in 22nd place," Principal Darren Wilkins said Tuesday afternoon. "Right at this moment, we're about 1,400 votes behind No. 20."

Vote for the school on the Kohl's Cares page on Facebook. You can vote up to 20 times; five times per school.
