Florida man injured in snowmobile crash near West Yellowstone

A Florida man was injured when he crashed his rented snowmobile into a tree north of West Yellowstone, the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.

The accident happened Monday on the Big Sky Snowmobile Trail. Sheriff's Office rescue personnel and paramedics from the Hebgen Basin Fire District responded to the accident and found the main complaining of pain in his right hip and leg.

The man was flown by helicopter to Idaho Falls for medical treatment.
