There is music in the air of the seven elementary schools in Bozeman as kindergarten through fifth-grade students get ready to take the stage in the annual all-school musical productions.

Irving School on South Eighth Avenue kicks off the season with "Celebrate With Joy" featuring the 300 students at two showings in the school gym on Friday, Dec. 10, at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Hyalite's 404 students will present "Spirit of the Holidays" on Tuesday, Dec. 14, at 10 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. in the school gym. Hyalite School is on West Babcock between Fowler and Ferguson.

On Tuesday, Dec. 14, at 7 p.m., Longfellow School's "Holiday at the Movies" will have one show at the Willson Auditorium, with songs from popular holiday movies and a quiz at the end to see if you can name that movie.

Friday, Dec. 17, is a "Winter Wonderland" performed by the 231 students at Whittier School on North Fifth Avenue in the school gym at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

Rock out on Monday, Dec. 20, at 7 p.m. in Willson Auditorium with the 325 Hawthorne students presenting "Rhythms of the Season," performing holiday music in 15 different musical styles.

"Holiday Happenings" are happening at Emily Dickinson School's gym on Annie Street, when the 511 students perform two shows on Tuesday, Dec. 21, at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. At the same time on Tuesday, at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Morning Star School on Arnold Street off of South Third Avenue presents "A Country Holiday Hoedown" in the gym with 545 students.
