American Legion: Belgrade splits road trip

The Belgrade Bandits lost 10-0 in five innings to the Billings Lobos and later defeated Miles City 5-4 in American Legion action.

The Bandits managed only one hit off the Lobos. Pat Freund knocked a single in Belgrade’s second at-bat.

Kole Mickolio and CJ Berberet each had two hits in the win over Miles City. Berberet had a double and two RBIs. Mickolio pitched 42/3 innings of one-hit ball.

Andy Ballinger knocked four hits including a double and a triple. Ethan Wilkes had three hits, including a double, and three stolen bases.

Ben Leister and Andrew Abate each recorded three hits, including triples in game two. Abate also stole two bases.
